In Chapareillan, in Haute-Savoie, there is this winery lost in the Savoyard mountains: the Giachino domaine.
Despite this, the road to get there is quite easy and you can enjoy an excellent view of Mount Granier and the Savoyard vineyards.
Once you arrive, on summer days, you will discover that a tasty aperitif is organized from 6pm.
The latter is made up of typical products of the region, such as cheeses, given by the winery and for those with a sweet tooth there is the opportunity to buy among the most different products cooked in a small truck, near the winery. The day I visited the winery there was a van with Lebanese delicacies. However, the food truck outside changes almost every day.
Can you ever have an aperitif without a good glass of wine?
Obviously, no.... The winery makes up for this well, offering you a great variety of choices between glasses and bottles.
Personally I opted for a bottle of Persan, a rare grape that can only be found in Haute-Savoie, Savoie, Isére and a little in Piedmont.
